  Was told they had golden weather loaches in stock, went to look and they were albinos instead, one was dead and the others looked close to death - really not good :(

  The reptile side of things here looks great- on my visit, staff appeared to be great and full of enthusiasm, letting kids get hands on with the snakes and their mates.
  
  The aquatics side was the bit I was interested though- and it's pretty average here. There's not a wealth of sale or display tanks here, but the coldwater and tropical livestock available seemed alright. A decent enough selection of accessories. Plants and decor very limited. If you're in that part of town, nip down the road to matey down Bretonside instead.
