  Martin's Gate Garden is tucked away behind Bretonside. It is small and intimate and should be a pleasant spot for a break or for lunch. A small children's playground is attached.
  However, the Garden suffers badly from a lack of maintenance. Railings need painting and damage to the circular seat has not been repaired.
  Little or no effort has been made to turn the Garden into a garden. It consists mainly of bare earth and untended grass and plants.
  It is hoped that the Garden may yet be converted from eyesore to asset.
